Celine Handbag Price Increase--clarified?

After posting the most recent news I had on Celine Luggage prices, I realized that those will probably be just for the Tricolor bags, since those are basically all we are seeing for Spring and Summer 2012.

Nevertheless, I had heard unicolor Minis were going to go up again anyway to $2600, and usually the Tricolors are about $200 to $300 more.

Based on what has been happening every season for the last year, we may be able to expect that by Summer 2012: Nanos will go up to $2150ish, Micros $2300ish, and Minis $2600ish.

If or when I can confirm if and when another increase will occur, not only for Celine Luggages but also for other styles, be assured I will post it here immediately.

Meantime, if you want a Celine handbag, whatever the style, you may want to consider taking the plunge sooner rather than later!

Brace yourselves for--ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE! When S/S 2012 Celine bags begin to ship prices will increase by more than 20% again. For example:

Nano: $2300
Micro: $2700
Mini: $ 2950

I am waiting to hear more about the rest of the bags' prices, but this is what Nordstrom will be charging, so I am sure the reps behind the buyers for the stores will ensure continuity. The increase seems to be around another 22%.

Fashion week is nearly upon us, and I believe these bags will ship soooner than they normally would, thereby giving us all only a chance to merely catch our breath before diving deeper into our collective wallets.

How to Find Your Celine Mini Luggage, Nano Luggage

Celine handbags, especially the Celine Mini Luggage, Micro Luggage, and Nano Luggage, are in extremely high demand. The new Resort colors such as FLUO PINK are exceptionally hard to obtain. This is because many stores only ordered a few, and the waiting lists have up to 40 for each store!

Further, it is difficult to determin who is actually "first" on the list. An SA from one store in a certain city will claim their customer is first, while an SA within that same company--but another city--will claim their customer is first. There is no master waiting list!

Further, what does one do if they live in Singapore, Hong Kong, China or Australia, for example, or another country where Celine handbags are not only difficult to find, but very expensive if they are found?

As of now, the only choices are to buy off of eBay or Bonanza, unless you happen to live in Singapore, and can use Deluxemall (see list of "Where To Buy Celine Online" at the bottom of this page.) How do you know if the bag is really authentic? Where can you go and freely discuss bags that are for sale, for trade, or those that can be obtained for a finder's fee?

The Purse Forum is probably the most comprehensive resource that exists today on handbags.  Members can post a bag listed for sale in the authentication thread, and have fellow members offer an opinion on whether or not it is legitimate. While the members there do not call themselves professional experts, there ARE NO EXPERTS who have credentials to authenticate Celine bags! So, those opinions are as close to 'expert" as one can get!
